GDragon , in his profile says that his height is 177 cm tall. Yeah, right. When he's standing next to some persons who are 177 cm tall, he looks way shorter. Let's see: Standing next to Ha Yeon Joo, 2pm's Wooyoung and Taecyeon he looks quite shorter. Take a look
picture says a thousand words xD So, it's easy to realise that GDragon's height is about 166 cm. Seungri is also listed as 177 cm tall. But really? He looks almost as tall as Go Hye Sun who's offical height is 163 cm. Since she's wearing DR. Martens which lift you up for few cm, it's possible for Seungri to be similarly tall as GD.
T.O.P is listed as BIGBANG's tallest member with his 181cm. His height is questioned again too. Standing next to Yoo Jae Suk (with GD) who's 175 cm tall he looks slightly shorter(not to mention GD).
Taeyang's offical height is 173 cm. Standing next to 2ne1's Minzy who is 161 cm tall he looks tall as her.
This isn’t the first time that Big Bang’s real height was questioned by netizens. We’ve been seeing this type of post almost every month lately, and more and more people are demanding YG Entertainment for clarification.

ReplyDeleteTop isn't as tall as they recorded but not as short as you've guessed :) he falls around I suppose 172-177, he seems way shorter than Cha Seung Won (who is 185, and if your 181 it wouldn't look that short) and Kwon Sang Woo looks 2-3 inches taller than him (KSW is 180cm tall). Well, Seungri's and Dae Sung's height might be around the same length (I suppose 168-175cm) the photo which he's with Goo Hye Sun kinda gives a height illusion to GHS (notice her legs, you can tell she's wearing a filler because if you define her legs it will kinda show her feet should be on the middle of the shoes' height not on it's very sole) but if they stand still next to each other you can tell the difference. Anyhow, GD I suppose is around (165-173cm), haven't watched the live show but I noticed that the girl is standing up front (def. will give an illusion that she's taller than them -- if they're all in the same height), when he's next to WooYoung you can tell there's only 2-3 inches difference (look to where their shoulders level) and Tae Yang -- he's definitely short!
ReplyDeleteThere is no shame in being short in height. But once you give the intentional wrong information to their fans and to the public, there is an honesty issue. BigBang should be ashamed of that. They did have the opportunity to make the clarification. But they chose not too. Very disappointing.

ReplyDeleteThis photos are old and they were still young, they could've grown. My sister is 5'7 which should be the same height at as taeyang and my sister said her and taeyang where just about the same height when he met her (sorry if my English is wrong)
